Blackline

BLACKLINE

A monumental study in natural material and modern form — designed, created and built from scratch by Joseph and Tom Meic. BLACKLINE is a one-of-a-kind wall installation created from home-grown black bamboo, individually cut and sanded, assembled by hand, then hand-painted in white and black.

At ten feet long, the piece has an architectural presence that transforms the wall around it. The repetition of bamboo creates dimension, shadow, and subtle movement, while the contrasting finish brings a contemporary edge to the natural material.
