Neutral, but not quiet.
Flint Guidon sets charcoal swallowtail banners against a cream ground, framed left and right by wide fields of warm camel. The banners step inward toward a large diamond at the center, its charcoal outline holding a copper core, with smaller versions of the same medallion anchoring the top and bottom. Every color in it already lives in your room.
Woven in Kanpur, India — a city known the world over as the Leather City — Flint Guidon is made to order by master artisans whose craft has been passed down through generations. Every piece is conceived in-house by Tom and Joseph Meic and brought to life by hand on traditional looms.
Because each piece is woven entirely by hand, Flint Guidon is imperfectly perfect. Slight variations in texture, tension, and tone are not flaws — they are the signature of something genuinely made. No two rugs are identical, and that is exactly the point.

Care
Vacuum regularly with a brushless attachment. Blot spills promptly with a damp cloth and mild soap — never saturate. Over time, a loose yarn may rise above the surface. Never pull it, and never cut down into the rug; instead, lift it lightly and trim it level with the surface. Air dry only. Not suited to wet or outdoor spaces.
Like every handwoven piece, your rug or runner will gently shift, settle and soften with time and use. It's part of its organic character, and what makes it yours.
